Materials & Quality
Materials, finishing and quality requirements.
Teak furniture performance begins with the material and continues through construction, finishing and inspection. Different furniture designs and end uses call for different technical decisions. We discuss these requirements with buyers before production rather than assuming one specification fits every project.
Teak material selection.
Material grade, grain character, component dimensions and moisture requirements should be appropriate to the agreed product and its intended environment. Technical specifications are confirmed at quotation or order stage.
Finishing options.
Finishing changes both appearance and maintenance expectations. Fine-sanded surfaces, oil treatments and other approved finishing systems can be considered according to the product and buyer brief. Final finishing schedules must be agreed before manufacturing.
Inspection and documentation.
Quality criteria should be specific and measurable wherever possible. Buyers can provide dimensional tolerances, appearance standards, inspection protocols and relevant documentation requirements for review.
